First off, I would like declare that I am big fan of The Piano Guys. I have boughten all of their albums and most(All?) of their singles. I keep wanting to like this cover of an iconic piece by John Williams. The Piano Guys version, I feel went for a more... subtle(simple?) approach. It just doesn't feel epic to me. I LOVED the majestic qualities of the original and I can't find that feeling in this cover. When I was younger, I preformed this theme in my school band and it was a favorite of mine. I remember being so jealous of the French Horn parts and the other brass sections. (I played the trumpet) I think that there was a lot missed potenial for a joint effort with the Youth Orchestra on this song like The Piano Guys did with their take on Beethoven's 5 Secrets (OneRepublic). I guess what I am trying to say, is this is an ok cover but it will not get repeat plays compared to the many, MANY great covers Piano Guys have that I like and own(License?). While I am at it and incase you read these comments, Piano guys, please don't release albums with singles that you have already released. I doubled dipped on a lot of your songs... Looking forward to your future works!

I love Jurassic Park so much and it’s near and dear to my heart and this is piano/cello duet is so soothing and reminiscent of the films. Beautiful music… the Piano Guys are so talented.
