  • way to be progressive!

so proud of Jimmy for inverting gender roles in his rendition of Baby Its Cold Outside! it's so natural, I didn't even notice for a whole minute! truly the king of progressive pop culture! although, winter wonderland seems a little problematic with the use of the Jamaican stereotype "mahhhn" instead of "maaahn" oh well

Thank you thank you thank you. You finally made me laugh about Xmas music again after years of working in a retail store and growing tired of the genre all together. Laughing and having fun like a kid...that's what Christmas music is all about

Jimmy , you're the best! Had the privilege of meeting Mr Buffett when he was dining out in West Palm Beach, FL. A multi decade, multi generation guy, go Jimmy. This album totally gets it done!

Not a big fan of Buffett, but agree with another reviewer here-- the vibe throughout evokes fun and warmth. And, his version of McCartney's "Wonderful Xmastime" is the BEST I've heard. Including McCartney's.

Ok, I am a Buffet fan. I think he is very talented, creative and has an excellent band. But I question why he put out this album. Every song (except one) is a Christmas song we have heard a thousand times. Whte Christmas, Rudolph the red nose reindeer, 12 days of christmas, etc. Really? Even "Buffetized" they are the same OLD songs. He even put a song from his first christmas album on here. His first album had songs we did not hear before. Classics like Ho Ho Ho and a bottle of rum. Merry Christmas Alabama, etc. Dont waste your time with this album. First time in 25 years I can say i am disappointed with one of his albums. What the hell was he thinking?

Buffett was the worst concert I ever saw and this might be the worst Christmas music I've ever heard.
  • a bit sickening

I love Jimmy Buffett for what he’s done with his life. A guy that’s followed his passions, lived life on his own terms, flying his own sea plane, surfing, sailing, singing, beaching out. We should all follow his example to live our own lives as truly as he does. This album however, seems to be more of an idea from some money grubbing exec’s boardroom, not the fun loving adventurer we all wish we could be. As if we need more commercialism about Xmas, if I hear another version of Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer, I’ll have to gouge my eyes out with a dull knife. Jimmy - I’m disappointed, to say this trash is a sell out would be generous. I only give it 2 stars because I respect you so...

After years of waiting, Jimmy has finally delivered an album of christmas classics. I can't wait to listen to it for the first time.

Nothing interesting from him since A-1-A. Made a career out of margaritaville.
