This Taron guy is soooooo good!! He nailed EJ perfectly! I am soooooo impressed! The songs have been modernized and livened up just a tad, but not too much to loose any of their original flavor. Just fantastic!!

I have to rate both the album and the movie together. What will win you over is when Taron was rehearsing "Your Song" to capture the essence of the movie and music. I'm glad that they included Elton John's playful fantasy to depict his life in the movie. Best music bio for me.

It was watched twice. I particularly liked when Elton has his first performance at the Troubador and he begins Crocodile Rock slow, with a blues riff and then pumps it up. It was a really good biopic. There was a moment when I wanted to punch John Reid. So. Yeah. It was very easy to watch, again. Have fun.
