First introduced to Sissel from her 2008 Christmas performance with the Tabernacle Choir. Since then, I’ve just become infatuated with her talent. In my humble opinion, she is the finest female vocalist in the world. Find her duets with Jose Carreras, Josh Groban, Russel Watson. Daryl Tookes and Epsen Lind.
She knows just how good she is and its fascinating to me to watch her face light up as she effortlessly glides through the music. I told myself if she ever in concert here in the USA I would go see her. When I learned she was to perform in SLC, it was just a short plane ride from Seattle and I too was blessed to watch her perform Slow Down in person. A memory I will keep close forever.

I was there. Listening to Sissel that evening was like being in heaven. I have no other way to describe it. Thank you Sissel for sharing your beautiful gift. This song in particular was delivered with such power, yet beautifully calming, and I can’t quite find the correct words. I also recommend watching this online because you will see her sweet reaction to a well deserved standing ovation. We didn’t want this moment to end.
