It’s a vibe — love it or hate it

I love it. While it’s near impossible to cover a group of songs from such an iconic artist without scathe, this collection chose a lane that’s different enough to avoid copycat, while retaining a synth-y mid tempo groove (get into it) that’s perfect for cocktails, cleaning house, or justifying my love. I’ll always go to the originals when I want to hear “that song” but this has a special place when you just need a bloop-y substitute for love.

This is the worst tribute album to Madonna I’ve ever heard. Most vocals sound the same. No real dance beats. It’s a soulless project that lacks the dance energy that these classics are known for….and the ballads are a train wreck. DON’T BUY THIS MESS.
Is this a joke?

You know when you go to a karaoke bar and their versions of a song sound like a Kidz Bop low-production rendition but nobody cares because everyone is drunk? That’s the vibe I got listening to this. I couldn’t care less on who does the cover, as long as they could actually sing, which is more than I can say for a majority of these “singers.” It’s really puzzling trying to understand why they chose these people and why they thought this would pass as a suitable tribute album. Think of it as if you wanted to photoshop a picture and you chose a child to do the job on Microsoft Paint. The album should’ve been called “Madonna did it better…”
This. Is. Everything.

This is something I never knew I needed, until now. Wow, what a gift to Madonna and her fans on the Queen’s birthday. Absolutely love this, so many bangers. I can’t stop playing it!

While I appreciate artists wanting to pay homage to a legend like Madonna, this wretched collection of misery which made my ears bleed is not the way to do it.
