Quite possibly one of the worst pieces of “work” I’ve ever heard. It’s virtually impossible to even concentrate of the lyrics when a pure classic song, coming off an amazing true Tears for Fears album tour and live recording of what is butchered on this track. Taking a classic song synonymous with a past decade can work. If not loved by those who cherish the classic, can be respected while being original, see Tupac’s Changes.
