Well - I have this on vinyl, and played it to death on cassette - but thought I'd come on over to get it digitally. Only to find it's a partial album (which won't download anyway!) and missing the one track that is guaranteed to give me chills: Life Without You. Don't know if it's record company shenanigans, but a pity. 1 star for the digital machine, 4 stars for the performance.

This is the BEST ALBUM(that's right Album, not just 1 or 2 songs) Stevie ever did and Double Trouble for that matter. Yeah, he may have been flying high. I survived my helicopter crashing, I just wish he did.
  • Very good Album.

The Album is great.....Stevie was truly one of the modern greats, but this gets three stars from me cause iTunes only has part of the album. If it was complete......A full five from me...

Cool! As I'm in a rock band (Not on Itunes) Stevie Ray Vaughan influenced me! I've seen a video of them playing live and they were awesome! I'm eight years old and I have this album. It's just that there is static in the background. Other than that this album is awesome!!

Save your money and buy Live At Carnagie Hall. This was recorded when Stevie was nearly at bottom of with his drug and alcohol problems and it shows. There are numerous obvious studio fixes on this record and this album doesn't show the fire or passion that Vaughan put into his playing.

Stevie was taken from us way too young!! At least we have this album as a testament to his guitar vituousity. I highly recommend this for any lover of the blues and the electric guitar.

SRV is a master. This has to be the most explosive/smooth guitar playing ever recorded live
