The CSO is always a great orchestra. Very rarely is there a bad recording to their name. But, when you throw in a very well-seasoned conductor like Claudio Abbado in the mix, the entire thing is kicked up a level. The brass still keep their sheen, and the tempos are very well chosen. Even the Romeo and Juliet overture is awesome.
