Solid return to form

Number 4 captured everything that was great about the bands previous releases. Not a perfect album but thankfully light years ahead of their worst album Tiny Music. Kinda the same thing Yield did for Pearl Jam after the equally horrible No Code. I remember how disappointed I was back in 96 with Tiny Music and No Code.
3rd best STP album

This is easily one of my favorite albums of all time. There is not ONE song that’s trash on this album. “MC5” is very very underrated, “Pruno” is awesome, and “Sour Girl” is a MASTERPIECE. 👏👏👏👏👏 This is the most underrated band ever. Hands down.
Great

R.I.P. Scott Weiland

I'm writing this review the morning of December 4, 2015 after just reading of Scott Weiland's death. Scott, along with STP, was one of my favorite artists, and I'll be listening to this album today as I remember him. In my estimation, this album was their finest, most cohesive effort. Critically, it was well-received both inside the industry and out. John Mellencamp called this album "the sound of a band overachieving." He's right. There's a melancholy that permeates the slower songs on this album that's hard to shake. Songs like Atlanta, and Sour Girl are among my all-time favorites. I could go on and on, but I'd just like to say that I am forever thankful to Scott, and the contribution his music has made to my life. When I think of him, and STP, this is the album I'll think of. God bless Scott. May you finally be at peace.
Pop?!

Come on Apple, why the hell is this album listed under the 'Pop' genre? The first song is harder rock than anything on the airwaves today's rock stations.

Better than "Tiny Music". And please don't only buy Sour Girl. That was actually one of my least favorites on the album. Atlanta might be the best.
