Cruel Sun

This album got me through the last 6 miles of my marathon last weekend. Great rhythm and energy in the music. Thanks Rusted Root!

Omg my favorite song from Ice Age is on this album! I've tried to find who sang it for a log time and never could find it. I feel like I've just found a missing piece of my childhood :,D

Just great! Full of energy! Loved it when I in college. After these many years, it still holds up!

This album was the seminal record for my college years. Not only was this a great CD, but the band used to play bars in State College, PA and bring down the house. They played every song and the crowd loved it Anyone who has seen these guys live know that they truly get the crowd into it. My stuffy roommate even used to dance! This is probably their best work from start to finish.

That crack about "bad Ladysmith Black Mambazo"? The vocal riff is much older than that. How about the "Wimoweh" riff from "The Lion Sleeps Tonight"? And that itself was a simplification of the older "M'bube". Honestly, if you're going to write about music for a living, learn something about music. I admit the only one of these tracks I have heard is "Send Me on My Way". But that song never fails to lift my mood, or make me dance in my seat if I'm in the car.

Love this one.

This is a great album. Whoever wrote the review/description needs to understand that this can't relate to other bands. It's too original.

In my humble opinion this is their finest work.

Rusted Root is for fans of jam music. The percussion is incredible. I saw this band live and the crowd was out of their heads dancing as one. They have a cult following for a reason. If this music doesn't make you move you are dead but just not buried.

this is one of my favorit albums ever, rusted root is totaly on par with there worldly-influenced beats and melodies, a must buy for any one looking for an album you can lission to for the full length, a rarety by todays standards
