Great album by Alphaville from the 80's. I love every song on this album, Forever Young is they're best song, followed by a few other tracks. Forever Young is done much better by Alphaville than Jay-Z. Jay-Z is not really a raper I like, and I already know his version of Forever Young is not going to be as good as Alphaville's. I'll stick with Alphaville, and not Jay-Z so much.

The beauty of this album is it isn’t just a collection of songs. It’s more like a novel and every song a chapter that tells a bigger story. You should really listen to the whole album start to finish. And, like a good story it worth reading again, again and again.
I would also recommend listening to it with headphones on and let the synth sounds surround you and delight it the playful back and forth between the left and right channels.

I got this record when it came out. I got it after briefly seeing the Big in Japan video on MTV at my friends house. That was the big song for me. I only had about three records (12 years old), so I listened to the whole record over and over. For me, every song is fantastic. I still have the record in the garage somewhere. I hope you all try the entire album out.

I heard forever young when I was watching sunny in Philly and I bought it as well as "sounds like a melody" and "fallen angel". Although the rest of the songs may not be as good, these three are definitely worth buying if u don't want the whole album.
