I first heard Canned Heat in '68- I was in 6th grade And have loved them indefinitely. Can't get enough of their soul and how they have fun with their music. When I first heard HOOKER AND HEAT I was truly hooked on both. Love the way the bands integrated their music, especially when John Lee talks to Alan and the rest of the band throught the album. i recommend all of CH and especially HOOKER AND HEAT. Unbelieveble. Just listen to all the nuances- vocals, guitar, drums, bass- it is so classic- this music is gone forever.
