It’s 2024 & I’m still playing “Fast Car” like it’s the first time. Very rarely do you find a song that is not only good but can stand the test of time this song is the blueprint on how that’s done

I’ll never forget this album…a poetic, folk masterpiece. Chapmans unique voice and guitar playing craft a rare gem. Fast car and talkin bout revolution are my favorites. So glad she came back to the Grammy and that Luke Combs brought it back to share with a new generation of music lovers. ❤️❤️❤️

Smooth voice, like “Tennessee whiskey “ and powerful messages in her songs.

I remember listening to these songs over 20 years ago. I started listening again recently, inspired by the revival of Fast Car. It hits differently now but it’s still so relevant.
  • Bought it on tape and CD and now online it is that ageless

I loved this song when it came out and Baby Can I Hold you was one of my favorites as well as fast car as I was a 20 something year old living in New Zealand and wanted to see the world and now I am a 50 something living in California and I have seen the world and still love this song and it takes me back to my 20s.
