Hear the Softly Spoken Magic Spell

The best rock album. As determined by the people. Based upon record sales. Most creative, best composition, depth of feeling. Home, home again. I like to be here when I can. The people have spoken. The people knew the truth all along. Dig that hole. When you're done, don't sit down. It's time to dig another one.

What can you say? This album is a true masterpiece. I can recall countless teenage hours spent with friends and a little smoke while listening to it and it never gets old. Breathtaking in its majesty, yet simple enough for easy listenability. I really love Gilmour's guitar work too. The solo on Time is one of the most beautiful guitar solos ever written.

I really can’t understand why “some people” don’t like Dark Side of the Moon. “Some people” voted for Joe Biden.
One of the greatest rock records EVER

I was about 17 when I first heard “Money” and “The Great Gig in the Sky” and that pretty much sealed it for me.
Nothing better

High school was spent sitting in a bean bag chair, lights off, headset on, listening from the start to the end. No shuffle. No skips. Just sitting, just listening. It was amazing. The soundscape seemed to swirl everywhere. I hadn’t listened to Floyd in years and I’d forgotten how good the album was and 50 years later, is. This is an album to experience, quietly and fully. It is a marvel of human accomplishment. Happy 50th anniversary, Dark Side of the Moon.
Great album!

This truly is a landmark record that’s really good from start to finish! The vinyl & CD versions of this are the best way to listen as the sound is far more pure & superior! The reason I don’t give it five stars is the simple fact that The Wall is Floyd’s greatest work!!
