Tom just keeps amazing! I can't say getting better, because he is already fabulous. Nobody can wire or sing with his sense of feeling.
The fact that he isn't a superstar is a terrible statement on society. "Grow old with me" is still one of the finest love songs ever penned. There are so many great tracks on this new album. "Silhouette" is an overlooked treasure in my book, and the video is beautiful.
Another triumph!
Amazing

While the album cover itself looks as though it was made by a 3rd grader, the album itself is a continued but much more matured sound than Long Way Down.
Wrong Crowd: 7/10 - While this song made me energized for a new album, the song itself became a little repetitive after awhile. Great first single though!
Magnetised: 9/10 - Magnetised is a relatable song about loving someone who doesn't feel the same way about them. The song is surprisingly a much more upbeat song that is a rare find among Odell's collection of song.
Concrete: 8/10 - While the verses are a little slow, the choruses are quite captivating and make up for them. Overall, a decent song.
Constellations 5/10 - While this is a return to his roots in Long Way Down, this ballad is a little slow and boring for me as it sounds a little generic for Tom.
Sparrow 9.5/10 - I actually really this song. While the song starts out a little slow, with the drums for a minute, the piano is my favorite riff on the album and is as characteristic as Another Love from LWD.
Still Getting Used to Being On My Own 6/10 – It’s definitely fresh from Tom but I can’t say it’s one of my favorites. While I listen to it now, I get the feeling I could be skipping it in the future.
Silhouette 9/10 – I think I’ll be one of the few that likes this one, because the beginning has a 40s or 50s vibe. But I think it has a fresh take on that sound, and I kinda like that.
Jealousy 6/10 – Once again, it’s one of the slower ballads on the album and I’m not a huge fan but it’s not a bad song. Just not great.
Daddy 8.5/10 – I must say I was very surprised by this one. It has grungy guitars and a dark vibe reminiscent of Can’t Pretend, but with a sound that is very much different. I was surprised, I actually quite liked this one.
Here I Am 11/10 – I think this is my favorite song off the album. I love the lyrics and I love the vibe of the song. It’s by far his most mature sounding and I would love to hear more songs like this in the future.
Somehow 8/10 – The song is pretty good but a little overlong for a slow track. It’s still a good closer for a decent album from Tom Odell.
I personally didn’t think ordering the Deluxe Edition was worth it. While the extra tracks may be good for diehard Odell fans, the songs aren’t very stand out and I can understand why they are extras. The album was overall pretty good.
The album is a really solid effort from Tom and I think an improvement on Long Way Down in terms of sound. While some of the songs sounded filler, he experiments with a lot of new sounds as well which work for the most part. My favorite song on Long Way Down was Can’t Pretend because it had some unexpected darker vibes, and I would’ve loved to see some more of that experimentation with the darker side on this album (the only dark song was Daddy, which was a much different vibe).
Overall rating: 3.95/5 (but I'll give it a 5 on iTunes)

This album really shows off Tom’s ability to be versatile and still create catchy and mesmerizing tunes across the board. Job well done, will definitely put this album on repeat.
