Shouldn’t be named Brown By Honor 2

GT has improved project after project that he’s put out. The Illest is probably his most complete project in terms of production, flow and content.
This project, however feels lackluster and the RnB features do not mesh well.
5 years Later: Stand out track of the project, quality production and lyrics. Worthy intro for the much anticipated Brown by Honor series.
I’m On it: Really old track, which feels like a filler. Has a very L.A.-ish sound to it and doesn’t blend well with Garza’s Houston sound.
What I Like: Solid album track. Still debating on this one’s replay value.
Yesterday: Replay value high. Second stand out track.
So Far Away: Aure has appeared on past Garza projects and have skipped each one he’s featured on. Although he has a short chorus on this one that doesn’t add much to the track, its not enough to bring down the song. Garza has nice flow and wordplay on this.
Waitin On Ya: Another RnB feature. This is, however, a much better feature and fits in nicely with Garza’s verses.
Davinci: A rap track finally! Solid album track.
Traphouse: Nice variety in the hook, verses and different flows used were excellent.
Hunder 100s: Best track right behind the opener, however, 8 tracks in before Garza raps about being Brown By Honor.
Mach 5: Decent track, but not worthy of making the album.
Slidin Candy: Again, another RnB feature. I understand it has a Paul Wall feature, but ill leave this up for the listener to decide.
Pray: RnB feature, good thing I copied and pasted it, was tired of typing that phrase out. Good verses, just too soft of a chorus.
Gave this album three stars, it was the much anticipated sequel to the first Brown By Honor which was a very good album. But this sequel can’t quite match its predecessor. Little let down considering this is the First Garza project I’ll skip on purchasing since before BBH 1.
