I really fell in love with the full band versions of Matt's songs via this album, even though he's one of the solo acoustic masters of the day. This is a great look into what the future would bring. Its just raw potential on display. Some of these songs were reworked and put on Beneath These Fireworks. Its just great to see an artist evolve and this was from the earlier years that led up to Some Mad Hope. I also love the fact that David Immergluck from the Counting Crows helped out on this album. Quality acoustic rock.

From the upbeat sound stylings of 'Wings,' 'Answering Machine,' & Amazing Again' to the ballad 'Loud' and the inspirational 'Little Victories,' Matt has created yet another amazing album!! If you haven't already, you really need to give this guy a chance! I promise you will not be let down!
