I can’t even manage to express how much I love this album! “I and Love and You” specifically. Whenever I have a bad day, I play this and I think of my love for my precious daughter. She loves this album too. I can’t recommend it enough-especially if you’re a person with complex feelings.

On their major label debut any fears of selling out or a loss of the magic from the Ramseur days is quickly put to rest. This album is just as warm, authentic, magical, heartfelt, and chocked full of killer tunes as any of the Avett offerings. For a band that has built a following off the undeniable energy and quality of their live shows, this album shows they can capture a lot of that magic on “tape” too and put out an album for the ages.
  • Their pinnacle (to me)

It’s more produced than earlier albums but to me, this is their best work start to finish.
