The only problem with this is it is perfect. And being perfect is now a defect to many. How passionate yet relaxed. What a great subtle band. No overplaying. No showing off chops. What great chemistry. And Clapton is so musical that everthing he sings and every note he plays comes from the heart.

These Karens get on here and give this great music negative reviews because it hurt their feelings on Eric giving his opinion on Covid.
We are in some sad times when people can t speak their mind if it goes against the mindless liberal/media agenda.
I would have my doubts if these trolls even listened to it.
Highly recommend this album for its pureness in music/production!

arguably this planets best guitar player backed by a crack band performing time honored, accessible tunes with pristine sound. tell me again what you naysayers didnt like. i missed it.

I feel so blessed to have this man's music in my life... The deapth of feeling, emotion and musicianship on this recoding is marvelous... This man speaks to my soul when I hear how deep he goes when he sings and plays on this record... For anyone who really loves music..

Honestly...I might've snapped up this release. The idea of a laid-back sesssion of Clapton playing acoustic versions of stuff--something he did to wonderful effect on the MTV Unplugged album--would be really welcome...if I didn't feel like it was tied to his relentless campaign against COVID measures like vaccines. He's made his whole identity about opposing efforts to combat the disease as if he's fighting for "freedom." He's emboldening all the wrong people. And I can't support it.
