This album is such a great encapsulation of the emotions when you’re reeling from failed relationships and general depression. This album has some of the saddest and darkest lyrics Gracie has ever written and while that sounds bad it’s so valuable to hear such vulnerability in personal songs that can resonate with people dealing with the same thing. I personally loved Rockland, The Bottom, and Better but honorable mentions go out to Camden, Alright, For Real This Time, and Wishful Thinking. For a debut album, this is a strong showcase of Gracie’s heavily vulnerable lyricism as well as an avid display of her vocals. Worth the listen and a fine addition to her discography.
