Totally in love with the album
Country?

This album doesn’t sound remotely country to me. Americana more likely. Anyway it’s just kind of boring. Doesn’t sound original at all.

What I cherish the most about Musgraves is her refusal to engage in vocal athletics. She lets her heart speak through lyrics and melodies that gently intertwine and gracefully express her emotions. This album showcases her fierce dedication to raw truth, just like "Golden Hour"'and "Star-Crossed" did. Those of us who've followed her career since "Same Trailer, Different Park" will recognize how she's tapped into her changing emotional life once again. She's maturing so well. We're so lucky she's gifted us with her sweet self.
My favorite album by Kacey to date!!!

This whole album is absolute perfection. It’s so unbelievably cozy. I haven’t stopped listening to it since the single Deeper Well came out. The rest of the album is a worthy follow through of creativity. The folkish roots allow for such song topic diversity. It sort of feels like a catch up with your best friend in their old pick up truck. Covering every topic imaginable as the sun flits through the trees and softly illuminates the interior. Again, cozy.
If Kacey ever does a variety show again, I would love for this album to be it. Maybe even doing what artists did back in the day and team up with Jim Henson productions. Because I definitely get the same cozy vibes listening to this album as I do when listening to Crystal Gale, Loretta Lynn, and John Denver. All who have had amazing performances next to some very endearing muppets. Fortunately this day dream is only for the fun of it.
This album stands on it’s own two feet and doesn’t need the extra pomp and madness of my daydreams to be enjoyable lol.

Amazing album. The melodies remind me of when I first enter college back in 05. The Architect will forever be a song I’ll never stop listening to.
I’m Obsessed 🤩

This album is extraordinary, and seems to open a new phase in her songwriting and song structure. Like Autumn Variations by Ed Sheeran, it is a notable step by someone who is already an amazing songwriter and performer. Every once and awhile a better than great album is made by an already great songwriter, and as with the Ed Sheeran album, reminds me why I love making and listening to music.
