I went into this with fresh ears. I wasn’t looking for SOAD B-Sides or unreleased tracks. I wanted Serj and Serj alone. I feel like that is what I got….and it’s awesome. Great lyrics and musicianship and the lack of Daron is no big deal in my opinion. These songs don’t need him or anyone else to be “better” or “great”. This is a great EP and I’m looking forward to listening to it for years to come.

If these are the songs he’s bringing to SOAD I’m glad they’ve released nothing. He’s a boring singer without Daron covering for him. Sounds like the B52’s and that’s no compliment.
