This is my favorite studio album by BOC. One of their best sounding albums, it also sports a number of great songs. I think the version here of The Red and The Black is the definitive version of the song. Same with Hot Rails To Hell. Wings Wetted Down is a very spooky song, while Teen Archer is an upbeat hard rock song with some splendid drumming by Al Bouchard. Cool band photo on the inner sleeve, and I love the poem on the other side of the inner sleeve, which may be the scariest thing BOC ever did. Great album!!!!

Dizzying guitar solos, bluesy ballads, catchy hooks... Tyranny and Mutation was and is an incredible rock album. Side 1 (the first 4 songs) was a blast of amazing guitar skills, while Side 2 slowed things down (a bit) only to end with the catchy hooks and blues slide of Mistress of the Salmon Salt. I wore the vinyl away on this when it first came out - you'll find it awesome.

As we all pretty much know, B.O.C. is one of the best classic rock bands ever. Which in turn makes this one of the best classic rock albums ever. All of the tracks are great espescially the eccentric yet extremely rockin' "7 Screaming Diz Busters" Buy it now.
