A completely worthwhile purchase. I fell in love after hearing a friend play "When We Was Kool" in her car. I bought the whole album on a whim and was not disappointed. Absolutely fantastic. Mellow, soulful, varied and consistent. Each track worthy.
Classic!!!!

PPT is the offspring of three fathers- South Dallas native Pikahsso Allen Poe (the animated one), Wichita Falls' smooth daddy PicnicTyme, and Fort Worth's own, the always unpredictable Tahiti. Individually, accomplished artists in their craft. Collectively, they are a group like no other.
Their debut CD,"Tres Monos in Love", is a twisted take on the trails of finding love. This CD speaks to those who put their hearts on the line, only to be trampled on by "the game".
Many will find the CD enjoyable, with few, if any, urges to skip ahead. And, like a certain snack food, you can't listen to it just once.
Thumbs up!
A breath of fresh air in this stale hip-hop era!!!

Tres Monos In Love' mixes elements of funk, new wave, rock, and R&B. PPT has sharp sense of production, musicality, and tight harmonies, not often heard by recent hip-hop artists.
They tell stories of awkward memories, bad dates, lust, and modern problems, that I can relate to. The way these guys harmonize and keep the humor going is excellent!
I highly recommend Work It Out, Clay At Your Own Risk, Frustrated, and When We Was Kool.
