First Contact

On April 5, 2012, I recorded the lyrical version of the Main Theme of "Star Trek: First Contact", composed by Jerry Goldsmith in 1996: it's called "The Hymn of First Contact" and it was written by Ken Paul, who, though he doesn't like "Star Trek" franchise, he wrote the lyrics during ten years. I liked this that I decided to do so.
A True Star Trek Score!

This album is one of the most beautiful and most moving scores I have ever heard, both inside and outside of the Star Trek franchise. The music doesn't just tell the story of the movie, it tells the story of Star Trek itself! The Main Title alone embodies the goal of Star Trek: to remind humanity that it will not only survive, but flourish in it's bright future.

The main title theme is one of the most beautiful pieces of music ever written. Period.

This is a great score by Jerry Goldmsith- quite possibly one of his best. The main title alone makes this album worth it.

I love this album and would give 5 stars, but there's 2 missing tracks. And you know what I'm talking about Apple.

This is my favorite movie from the Piccard era. Also had one of the best movie soundtracks imo.
A Pleasant Surprise

Quite honestly, I have never been excited by Jerry Goldman's scores in the past. However, when I saw Star Trek 8 and the main theme came up I was amazed to learn that Goldman himself wrote it. The main theme is one of the most beautiful pieces of music I have ever seen and that makes this album a must have for fans of the series.

Contains the finest elements of the Star Trek scores. From The Original Series to The Motion Picture; through The Final Frontier and The Next Generation, First Contact provides an outstanding overture for all of Star Trek's series and film.

Come on who doesn't like the borg with there opening (in a collective voice) "We are the Borg lower your shields and surrender your vessel. Your biologial and technologial distinctiveness will be added to our own. Resistance is futile."
