Truly angelic

In medieval paintings, angels are often depicted singing and playing the harp. I have never met an angel, and I don't know what kind of music those artists envisioned their subjects to be playing. However, if I had to take a guess, I would imagine that it would sound somewhat like Therese Shroeder-Sheker's album "Rosa Mystica," thankfully available right here on earth without ever leaving iTunes. This is simple music--angelically simple, one might say. Her voice and harp alone, with a minimum of production, seemingly float the listener away into the clouds, and there is nothing jarring here to break the reverential mood. I have never heard anything quite like it, and I don't imagine there is anything quite like it, this side of heaven, that is.
