I believe this perhaps the best rendition of "In My Life" outside of The Beatles. Very poignant and emotional.

Josè's BEST, and my Favorite! How very clever to remake a song and make it so special! I think that if a person is going to remake a song they'd better do a good job... and Josè Feliciano did a superb job! Thank you Josè!

For the longest time I only knew very few select tracks from Jose Feliciano's vast catalog, but recently I decided to dig into his past work and see what I've been missing. Basically to sum up just how much feeling Jose Feliciano displays in his music, let me say this... when I heard "In My Life" for the very first time, it made me cry. His passion and intensity is like no other and I'm looking forward to discovering more gems from this amazing performer. This is a great collection to start out with if you're a newbie to Jose's music like me. Also check out the LP "And The Feeling's Good" which contains Jose's version of Stevie Wonder's "Golden Lady"... absolute classic!

This is one of my favorite songs despite the fact that I lost the man of my dreams to another girl. Whenever I hear it, I still think about him and whatr happened that day.

This collection is a rarity for the version of "High Heeled Sneakers" which comes straight from the long lost RCA recording called "Souled Out" where Feliciano did some jazzy versions of some great pop tunes. Most collections omitted this one for the more accoustic solo version. Listen to his "sexy" vocal moaning, cleavor vocalese and the string arrangement which will blow you away from the earlier release version. The sadly over looked Mexican/American classic show theme "Chico & the Man" is a winner too. Jose' is a singer who puts so much feeling into all he does that if you have nothing of his music, this collection IS the one to own.
