She's been in the music bussiness since '89 and she looks better than eva ! I say to everyone who listens to her music will want to rise up out of their seat and move with the dance/pop beat she has created. I don't own the cd but I do have "automatic" with me. For which I must say to everyone, Watch the "automatic" music video. It's like no other and the guys in it are to die 4 !!!

Although I'm not a fan of every song on, "Grime, Silk, Thunder", there are several tracks that take notice and that I find I still continue playing even after having played this album out all summer (a good thing - honest). "Love's the Only Drug", "Scandal", "Automatic", "Falling", and "Give It All You Got" are awesome songs that get you pumped and make you feel good!

Grime Silk & Thunder exists as a testament of how an artist can evolve with trends... while staying true to her roots. Ultra Nate gives us some unexpected, pleasant surprises along with what we came for... and we all came on this trip to hear house, with tracks like "Getaway" and a thrilling remake of her early hit "Scandal". Every artist has a sound which identifies them, and Ultra gives us what we love about her - uplifting lyrics and fierce guitar on my favorite cut "Give It All You Got", the peace and wisdom of "Feel Love" and the ecstasy of "Lethal Shot". Her classic sound is edgier as she moves into progressive territory with her huge mega-monster hits "Automatic" and "Loves The Only Drug", proving that she still has that sound the masses love. Ultra Nate is solely responsible for getting me into progressive house - before this album, anything that smacked of techno got on my nerves. Grime Silk Thunder opened my ears and my mind to all sorts of new music because she reminds us that progressive house can be funky and soulful and technological all in the same moment. She puts the funk back in the trends! This album is a journey on which you must embark - you cannot exist for another moment without downloading this entire album immediately!

When I first listened to this, I was "ehh" but as with all my favorites- it grew on me and now I LOVE IT! This is a great new disc, Thank you Tommy Boy for getting behind Ultra ...now, if she would do some shows to suppor this, I am sure it will do lots o' bizness. :)

I've been following Ultra Nate for a few years now..... and never does she disappoint. I have been awaiting this new release.... and it is SUGAR! Great vocals, Great beats, Great music.
Not often do we get unique talent anymore..... keep giving it!

i have every album and most of her singles....
I've been following her career and dancing to her music forever....
and i have to say....this album is by far the weakest of them all...and if it wasn't for the new version of SCANDAL....I would of been totally disappointed that i bought the album....
I'm gonna give it a few more listens....and if i change my mind, i'll change my review....
even the cover of automatic left me a little blah.....
