Dobet Gnahore has a beautiful voice, clear voice. Her music is heartfelt with a wonderful beat! Both of her CD's are excellent. If you have the opportunity to see her in concert, don't miss it! She is a dancer as well and puts on an extraordinary show.
Recreate "Acoustic Africa" tour...

Dobet's haunting, soaring voice on this second disc is definitely worth a listen. Anyone interested in recreating last year's Putumayo Acoustic Africa tour on CD now can - each of the 3 artists have new music out in 2007. Try Habib Koite and Vusi Mahlesela to round out the virtual event. It's just a shame not to get to see Dobet dance, or see the 3 artists build off of each other in concert.

I like it alot and she can be compared to many female world vocalist - a great stylist in her genre and I can say I like it and it will be on the ipod as I work it out in this small city and imagine I am in another place around the globe as I allow her to transport me there with her voice, it is smoothe like hot rain - - representin motown - sabrina
