One of my favorite rockin' blues albums of all time. Every song is a keeper. Corey had a great voice and awesome guitar tone from his Fender Strats. Standout songs are Gone too Long, Blue Drops of Rain, and It's Over. Get this for a great electric blues romp!

Maybe you have never heard of Corey Stevens but you've heard of Eric Clapton. Close your Eyes and open your ears and mind. The resemblance is uncanny. CS carries these tunes with a great energy and atmosphere. the sound fills the space, there is depth and dimension but it is not overdone. Thoroughly enjoyed this one, but don't buy this one because it sounds similar to someone else, buy it because its just a great album. OO--< Go Bills! Sabs!

It's a good album to have in one's collection. Good bar rockin' blues, some slow numbers, a couple of definite "blues" related subjects sung, and even a light hearted tune with "Headshrinker". It's just a fun album and Corey Stevens proves he got chops. I see iTunes did not include Stevie Ray Vaughn's "Lenny" which I felt Stevens did well with heart and would have, I'm sure, gotten a thumbs up from SRV himself. I don't know if it was a royalty issue, but maybe the iTune people can look into this and get "Lenny" in the mix.
