Lifesavas... To me one of the most slept on groups out there. Thought-provoking lyrics with dope beats. What I really like about this album in comparison to others, is how much variety is put in it. Really outstanding, now go BUY it!!

This album gets overlooked as one of the top God-fearing releases since 2000. I heard "What if it's True" at a college baseball game (a player used it as an intro song) and was hooked on the hook itself. To find out they were talking about Christ blew my mind and now I continue to pick up nuggets of Gospel everytime I listen. I hope they continue to spit scripture and talk about what matters; eternity!

Now this is Hip-Hop! Whatever happned to the classic lyrical eMCee? Do the so called rappers of today even understand what it is to eMCee, to be a master of ceremonies? Do they even understand the meaning? Or do they just discuss the repetitive and dull topics of their lavishing array of tangible materials? Is it because talent no longer exists or does not matter in order to make a hit record? Today, people are left in the dark and are blinded by their perception of the Hip-Hop culture. Hip-Hop has evolved into two separate and highly distinctive sub-genres: the popular and commonly known "Hip-Pop" where nonsense is the primary concept of the track, and "Underground Hip-Hop" or simply "Underground" where raw talent and genuine passion for the culture and the music exist and is very much preserved. Each of the tracks in this record tell a story. They have meanings, from the words that were used to each element of the beat. Listen to the track, don't just hear it! Then you might appreciate it.
