Andalusian Nights

Yeah I see there are some albums missing here. But no matter. If Govi's created it then it is awesome. His music is like a massage for the mind. I have turned so many people on to his music. It is fun to watch my friends reaction when they first hear his guitar. They just freeze. Listen. Then kinda slowly look back up at me and ask ,"who's this?" Hooked. You're welcome.

I stumbled upon Govi through this cd and though I own nearly all of his albums, Andalusian Nights is and always will be my winner! Among my favorites...Persuasion...because of its sublte romantic feel! Andalusian Nights...because it is just so carefree and the music so suited to its name. They are all truly wonderful pieces, each bringing something new and each so sweet and tender like a summer romance.

I have listened to this CD for years and it never gets old or outdated. Very beautiful and relaxing music!!

I love the mix of wonderful sounds you hear in southern Spain, the former Moorish territories. A fusion of Arabic, Spanish, flamenco, guitar, castanets, and either a dance beat or soothing as well. Check out Alabina, Gipsy Kings, Los Lobos, and Armik for similar music.
