I have loved this album since I heard as a child. I have played it during college, law school (especially law school!) and all times after. The album and disc have accompanied me throughout my life and the music, thanks to technology has been around the world with me. Often I play it at work because it provides a great atomosphere for thought, at home for relaxation and in the backyard for appreciation.
It is that perfect glass of wine for your soul. Thank you Miles, Coltrane, Cannonball, Wynton Kelly, Bill Evans and Jimmy Cobb I would not have wanted to do it without you!!

I would like to apologize for listening to this album through the samples ITunes provides it customers, but I have had Freddie Freeloader in my head and felt I had no choice. Thank you for sharing with the world.

Every cut is a master piece. Every artist is a master of his instrument at the peak of their talent.

This is the best of Miles Davis before his electronic instruments phase. The fact that Congress recognized this album as great says it all.
Genius!!!

My dad told me about Miles Davis one day and handed me this CD. The music is so well made and put together. Miles Davis is the KING of jazz. This man is a legacy and it's a shame I don't know very many people that know of him.

This is an album of musical genius and perfection. It is Jazz at its zenith of beauty and song. No other Jazz album can ever touch Kind of Blue. And the Legacy Edition is a must.
"1958 miles" with "Kind of Blue"= Awesome.

The 1958 Miles collection is some of my favorite stuff, so combining those tracks with one of the most famous jazz records in history is a great excuse to spend 17 bucks.
