Fear of Music is a brilliant example of this band's distinctive approach to music. Listening to this album's best moments feels like listening to catchy '80s new wave music fused with brilliant abstract art. David Byrne's maniacal singing mixes with Brian Eno's inspired production and creative songwriting to create an extremely captivating album. If you're a talking heads fan, or more generally a fan of odd and artistic music, I'd recommend this album very highly. Only tracks that I'm personally not in to are the opening track with its silly gibberish lyrics, and "Electric Guitar" which is repetitive without being particularly interesting or memorable. Everything else on here is incredible.
