This soundtrack captures the subtle but disturbing history of a Victorian Mansion called Haverghast. It begins with someone walking through in the last rays of sunlight into the house, there the person is shut from the world by an invisible hand. In the track 'Fallen Grandeur' the organ flows to tell a macabre tale of the Haverghast Mansion. Over the course of other tracks, you hear the 'Last Breaths' of ghosts locked in the 'Hands of Fate'.
In the middle of night, you can feel eyes peering at you from the shadows and stalking your footsteps by 'The Watcher'. You can see in your head the soul that sold itself to live for eternity in the 'Sinister Pact'. As the person travels throughout the house, you picture murders and grotesque scenes locked in the walls and air with the 'Gruesome Discovery'. Soon the person's heart is pumping a million beats per minute as the 'Return of the Ancient Ones' and 'The 13th Hour' wrap up the Gothic and Halloween music.
