I think I like this version better than the original. I love Rod’s voice. Good album and worth having in your iTunes library.

I love this man because he can sing anything. He’s excellent at singing these songs.

Not all the covers are great. Didn't care to much for his version of "Love Hurts" My favorite was Badfinger's "Day After Day" love the original to death! The other covers were actually pretty good. Though I thought that rod could have perhaps put a bit more feeling to some of the songs. Good effort overall.

Sweet album, but of all the raspy voiced hits he could cover, 'Betty Davis Eyes' seems like the one that seems like the elephant in the room. I mean so many people still think that the Kim Carnes' classic was his song. I would love to hear his take on it.

It was a pretty good album, not Rod's best production ever but I like it personally.
  • should be called 'rod uninspired'

This sounds like Rod going through the motions, I could hardly sit through this lp....and I am a huge fan of his work. It just seems lazy to me. Hopefully he has a few more great records in him before he calls it a day.
