Compared to Spirit I can't really say I like everything about this album. While there is a good mix/balance of ballads and dance songs ( the first of which over-dominates the album) the album has its flaws. Honestly I don't mind the electronic dance music like song "Outta My Head" but honestly enjoy well developed vocals without the aid of electronic features (autotune, vocal layerings) but thats just me. I can see ballad after ballad getting overdone for Leona Lewis or any other female singer making the listener tired of her awesome voice (like we get the point she's got a great voice). The techno stuff all its own can be distracting and when it dominates so much and covers up the artist then the thrills escape from me.
Despite those flaws or whatever you would call them this album is still worth the purchase. You will probably love Echo a little more or just as much as Spirit.
