Annette Strean's vocals are completely mesmerizing! Just the subtle differences in her articulation of a certain work can convey a feeling that she is singing to you personally. Now, hearing Blue Man Group through your speakers is one thing, but you have GOT to see them in person if you can. I saw Venus Hum perform this with BMG when they came to Tampa a few years back....and it was a stellar performance....one I will never forget.
The raw, tribal drums & rythms dished out by BMG, coupled with the electronic master strokes from Kip Kubin & Tony Miracle, provide the canvas one which Annette paints the portrait of what musical collaborations are all about.
I bought this album from iTunes so that I can help support both groups...I recommend you do the same....AND check out there other stuff too!
