This band was very much underrated, even at the height of its popularity. “Yourself or Someone Like You” was their debut album and had several hit songs. I can listen to the entire thing easily a few times while working or on long car rides, with no need to skip any songs. The lyrics are well written and Rob Thomas’ voice is strong, smooth (yes, I went there), and oh so very recognizable.
The band is touring again (2022) and I’m looking forward to seeing them for the third time! We need more music released today that is reminiscent of 90s music, arguably the best decade of music ever!
The best album from the 90’s

I still have my CD from high school and I love this album. Kody is one of my favorite lesser known songs.
How does this album only have 145 reviews?

This album is a 90’s masterpiece. I watched the debut of the music video for Real World on MTV in 1998, and was hooked ever since on this band. Long-haired Rob Thomas was my 90’s crush, so how could I not be biased about this album? It’s easily their best to date, and the one that put them on the map.
Still in my CD player

This is the kind of album you put on and just listen. No need to skip tracks. Chart toppers like real world, 3 a.m. and push. Plus subtle favorites like Kody and back 2 good. Love this album still.
Awesome

It’s 2017 and I’ve had this album since it’s release so many years ago. Most, if not all, albums eventually get old. This one never has, from beginning to end. After many years to consider, this is my favorite of all time.
