This is a great album full of energy in each song. Mikey is coming with such an original style that seems to be relatable for everyone in one way or another. The diversity of each song and the themes within his lyrics seem to draw me in and make me want more. It is a fun celebration of the divine that we look for in life, and singing about it only makes it more real and concrete for me. It is such a well rounded album from the songs to the production, just great all around. I can't wait to hear these songs live when he's on the road this year! What Mikey has done with this album is probably more significant than he knows. He's taken what we thought we knew about Folk, Jewish, and Electronic music and turned it on its head. He's shown no regard for categorical boundaries and I thank him for it. More than anything else, it's just beautiful and honest music. That's all I can ask for, and he seriously delivered. This will be the soundtrack of my life for the foreseeable future.
