Peppers were originally and played their best when they had a fusion of three genres - punk rock , funk, and hip
Hop. Although they still have hip hop and funk they matured and evolved into writing alternative rock rather than punk rock songs. The result is they lost their intensity and young ambitious sound . It was a necessary change the band to be taken more seriously in the music world and they are being honest with themselves becoming adults . But honestly how often are you going to rock out to songs on here? Most of them don’t even rock are laid band alternative pop songs compared to their prior material.

The choice of encore and the exclusion of “Sikamikanico” a “Soul To Squeeze” was a questionable decision to an otherwise flawless album. Not kid friendly so beware!
