Prince steals it!
Rock and Roll Hall of Fame award video

By His Majesty's Princess
This classic George Harrison favorite was performed by his close friends and son Dhani at the Rock n Roll HOF induction ceremony in 2004. The late Prince gives an outstanding guitar riff at the end. This video has become so popular that it is part of "the power of rock experience" in the Connor theater on the inductee floor of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
One of the best renditions of this song I have ever seen and heard. Definitely worth adding to your collection if you love the Beatles or the late George Harrison.

Even after two years when I drive past Paisley Park I still get misty and I'm an old man.
As Bomani Jones explained, "Prince is dead. It sounds implausible, even in a world where the only kinds of people are those who will die and those who already have. But if there were two types of people on the planet, Prince always seemed to belong to a third. And now he’s done the only ordinary thing any of us could ever imagine him doing".
What a perfect presentation of a great tune.

I too loved this song in its orgianl form and was extremely happy that Jeff Lynne repoduced Eric Clapton's perfectly mournful lead note for note. It could not have been bettered, and he did a FABULOUS job. Thank you Jeff! Then Prince came in and brought with him a tribute performance worthy of the man, George Harrison, who wrote it and also a tribute to what really great music is all about. That was very powerful and I listen to it over and over. The absolute best version of this tune ever done and it is a privledge that we all can watch and listen and learn. Thank you to all of the fine musicians who were there to make it happen.

Two things bout Showmanship one was George Harrison's talent secondly joined with Princes' that exemplifies how when the right talents come toghether the instruments can't hold all the Passion a artist trys to express thru i, leaves you wanting more and gently weeping
