Brenda is the original singer and does an Amazing job,the original classic is Beautiful and Brenda sounds Amazing,the original video not on sale yet on iTunes but this is a later salsa version from her salsa CD and Brenda still sounds Amazing and looks Beautiful.The Mariah version sucked!

Brenda K. Starr’s original version is much better because she had more passion and she sung it from the heart. During that time of her life she was phenomenal! I think she still could be, but she needs to practice more and find that passion. She was a hit before there was a Jennifer Lopez and she needs to find herself again. She was a beauty more so than her daughter.

I have seen the original on the web and this one blows. Back in 88 she was a hot shell that was hard not to fall for. But she is still the same person. We all change and thats the law of nature. I just love the original music video and her young innocent looks. The song is a classic and will remain just like beat it is to michael jackson. I still love her.

I agree COMPLETELY with the previous reviewer. Mariah Carey did a REMARKABLE version of this CLASSIC. I want a video of Brenda doing like her original. I'm not saying it has to have been recorded back in the original days. I just want that passionate delivery from the original.

Maybe some don't know but the Mariah Carey version of this song is almost a direct copy of the original version sung by Brenda K Star in 1988. That's the video I want to see, not this version.

this is the first time i've seen the video or heard the song from her, i just think it doesn't work the tune with the lyrics don't go together. 'I STILL BELIEVE" Mariah Carey can sing it better she performs it 100% better and with more power. brenda should just stop singing it. sorry that's what i think.
