Original version by Brave Combo is FAR BETTER! Check it out on their Christmas CD..."It's Christmas Man!" Brave Combo are the muscians' musicians.

Dylan is worth a buck, ninety-nine anytime, and this is no exception. Watching him try to be the life of the party is hilarious; he does give it a valiant effort. At one point you can even see him trying to make sure that he has hit his mark. Don’t know why the video editor repeated his goofy hand motions; ‘tis irritating--as is the obvious use of a stunt double to make it seem that Dylan actually is dancing. The song, itself, is great, destined to be a holiday staple. If this is the start, then, the rest of the Dylan Christmas album is going to be a blast.
Hilarious -

- how Christmas truly goes down. Dylan's wearing the Willie Nelson style wig he wore on tour a few years ago (for reason's known only to himself), and drinks, cavorts and makes merry before the party is interuppted when a fight breaks out between two drunk party guests.
It's a good laugh, it's in the spirit of things, and it's sure to do what Dylan has done his entire career: confounded his critics.
If you love Theme Time Radio Hour, classic Christmas music and don't mind taking your Bob-fix with a hefty dollop of humor, come and join the party.
