This is one of my personal favorite Crosby, Stills, Nash, and Young albums. This album has a great flow, track after track. Also, this album has great vocals, great drum solos, and great guitar solos as well. Finally, the instruments wrap around the vocals like no other, and intertwine perfectly. Definitely looking forward to the next limited play album, and extended play album from Crosby, Stills, Nash, and Young.

By far... one of their very best compilations! Given the turmoil this group of musicians encountered at the time, they always came together in the end and arranged some of the best harmonies and melodies of the 60-70's era! How sad that in todays world, the lacking of talent has left the audience/s without such entertainment and bliss to the ears and our Hearts. Oh... what have we come to be?

The review states that until the 1990's So Far was the only place you could find both "Ohio" & "Find the Cost of Freedom". This is only half true. Since Neil Young wrote it, "Ohio" has always been on his "Decade" set, which came out in the late 70's. And both songs are on CSNY's live album "Four Way Street".

I'm sorry, but I'm reviewing this album for the beautiful song, Ohio. This song is a true commemoration to the horrible events that took place at Kent State University in Ohio on May 4. (Incase you didn't know, the Ohio National Guard shot & killed 4 students and wounded 9 who had been protesting the Vietnam War) What a touching song!!! Thank you for this wonderful melody, C,S,N,Y!! R.I.P Allison, Jeffery, Sandra, & William! True heros!
Wrong Order of artists lol

It should be CSNY not CSYN but then again I guess it don't matter but anyways I love the entire album from Deja Vu to the classic Suite: Judy Blue Eyes. There is not one song on this album that I would choose on this album above all others and I really don't normally say that if you can believe it ;) I recommend the entire album...Period
Fantastic album

My dad used to play this record all the time. I remember learning all the lyrics to these songs. He used to play the guitar and we'd sings the song. I grew up on this stuff. Favorite track has to be Helplessly Hoping. Great stuff.
Fantastic

I have listened to CSNY since I was a little kid, my parent's were of the 'nam generation... so I grew up with a lot of that era's music. The one thing I wish they did, was include "Carry On"... that's a fantastic song.
All of this music was driven by the Vietnam War and the draft... and of course lots of drugs.
It's sad that today's youth has nothing meaningful to write music about.

This is one of my favorite albums and it has been forever. My first memories of it are from when my mom would crank it up when we were cleaning when I was little and I've had a connection ever since. Their voices are beautiful, the guitar riffs are powerful, and it is music with real substance- something we seem to have forgotten how to make these days.
